Do you really know your cat?

This is a story about witches and the connection they have to cats.
One thing you should know about witches: they never work alone. Most belong to a coven. Witches who like to work by themselves have familiars or underlings who do some work for them – the dirty work, if you want. And many times witches partner with other beings or humans to get what they want. Like a business partnership – long-term, project-based or sometimes just a little “side gig”.

In this story we focus on cats and how people don’t know that some cats are somehow involved with witches, or can actually be witches in cat form. There are so many different scenarios and stories about witches & cats. I’ll share a few to give you an idea.

When witches work from the other side (the Real), they need someone on this side (the Matrix) to act for them. The cat works as the catalyst for the witch. In these cases the cat is either a familiar – basically the witch’s assistant –  or they work task-based and only when they feel like it. Think of a freelancer, but a very picky one. Sometimes the cat shares its body with the witch. Think of the body as a car: the witch sits on the driver’s seat, while the cat chills on the passenger’s seat. Once the witch gets what she wants, she leaves and the cat takes its place on the driver’s seat again. Because some cats are quite difficult to control, witches usually keep a network of cats to make sure the jobs get done. Some cats don’t get involved with witches at all, others work for multiple witches. This solely depends on the character of the cat.

Some of the tasks cats are asked to do range from scratches, dead animals to as simple as a touch. Let’s start with the easiest, the touch. When you pet a random cat on the street because it is so adorable, you open yourself up to the cat – or maybe even the witch that is sitting in the cat’s driver’s seat – and let in whatever they want to put in or on you.
Scratches are a bit more intense. Any injury creates an opening for dense energy to swoop in and sit in that injury and do its damage. When a cat scratches you, it becomes a great opening for a witch to put her spell in that wound and have it sit there and mess with your trajectory.
One of the more interesting tasks involves dead animals. It is widely spread that cats bring you dead animals because they care for you and this is how they show love and appreciation. Well not exactly, not if there is witchcraft involved. The dead animal can be full of black magic. Depending how much they got paid, the cat may leave the dead animal at the doorstep or they put it in places like under the sofa, where it sits until the smell gets so bad that the humans find it. Accepting the dead animal as a gift works in the favor of the witch and her black magic.

Whatever the task, it always comes down to spells and black magic. But don’t worry, spells can be broken and black magic isn’t as powerful. I’ll share more about spells in the coming stories.
