In this story, we learn that jealousy has no face, no boundaries and doesn’t know time.

It was quite a windy day and the witch almost didn’t hear the knocking on her door. A young woman was seeking help. She told the witch how blessed she had been in life. She grew up in a good family and always had enough food to eat and warm clothes to wear. She had a good, loving relationship with her father, mother and her younger brother. She had great friends and kind neighbors. A couple of years ago, she married a man who she liked and respected a lot. Together they created a home and a life they both liked. She said she had so much good fortune that it felt unfair to ask for more. But this wish is not for her, it was for her family, especially her husband, to whom she felt she owed so much. They all gave her a great life and the way she felt she could give something back was through bearing a child.

Unfortunately, her body was failing her. She and her husband were trying to have a child, but the babies didn’t survive in her womb. She was afraid something was wrong with her body that was harming the babies, causing several miscarriages. But the doctor couldn’t find anything unusual. She and her husband were devastated. They wanted a child so badly, but the weight of having several miscarriages was very heavy. But not being able to fulfill her role and give the family a child felt even heavier. That’s why she kept trying until the husband slowly started letting go of the desire to have a child.

Not wanting to give up, the young woman decided to seek help from the other realms. She asked the witch to fix something in her body to help her carry a baby to term. The young woman thought that it was her body that was the problem. But the witch could tell immediately from her energy that her body wasn’t the problem. What she did find, though, was something dark around her womb. It was a spell designed to end the fetus’ life.

When the witch revealed it wasn’t her body but a spell causing the miscarriages, the young woman was shocked. She couldn’t think of anyone who could hate her so much to do that to her and her family. The witch sensed she was telling the truth. With the young woman’s permission, the witch examined the spell and tried to trace its origin. This spell was particularly difficult because it originated from a previous lifetime. The witch could sense strong jealousy behind it, but without having more information made it very difficult to remove the spell. 

If a spell cannot be removed, it can sometimes be blocked. The witch couldn’t promise whether it would work or not, since spells can be very tricky, but the woman was eager to try. The witch placed a block around the spell and had the woman check in regularly to ensure it remained intact. Shortly after the spell was blocked, the woman got pregnant again. The pregnancy was very nerve-wracking for the entire family, even the witch was holding her breath with anticipation. 

The woman gave birth to a healthy girl. She was immensely relieved and grateful to hold her baby in her arms and fulfill her role as a wife. She could finally also be a mother.
